Structured Approach

What to expect

Our structured approach simplifies difficult material about the prevelance of child abuse and empowers adults from all walks of life—teachers, coaches, neighbors, and caregivers—to intervene when a child needs help. Kids are counting on us.

  1. EDUCATE – Trainees will learn to recognize the signs of child abuse and neglect.
  2. INFORM – Trainees will understand their role as a mandated reporter and responsibility to make a report to proper authorities.
  3. PROTECT – Trainees will become aware of the child protection system and their role ensuring the correct steps to protect and support child.

 

A Nationally Expanding Resource

What began as a state-based effort in New Hampshire is now a vital, scalable model for education and awareness of Child Advocacy Centers nationwide. Through partnerships with Child Advocacy Centers (CACs), KNOW & TELL® continues to grow, offering training, resources, and support to communities committed to child safety.  We can only help the kids that we can reach.
